Our Masters certification in "Modeling Excellence" offers a science-based model for change, and powerful tools for transitions. Create a new life story and learn how to use advanced skills to better manage your business and personal life.

You graduate able to immediately apply your skills and insights to practical issues in your life. You'll also be able to positively influence those near you in the workplace and at home.

How it works. This is an intensive program. We do in-depth demonstrations and provide extensive training, with weekly practice offered between modules. You also select a focus track in Business, Coaching, Wellness, Creativity, or developing Genius for a project that you present.

In our Practitioner Certification, the focus is on your own patterns of communication - how your habits can block your effectiveness and what you can do about it. 

In the Masters in Modeling, you learn when and how to apply these powerful change techniques with yoursefl and others. You refine your skills in observation, pattern recognition, and how to model excellence.

In addition to new tools, we teach a science-based coherent model of how people form their maps of the world. Once you apprecite this model, you know how to permanently change deeper patterns -- for yourself and others.

The Master Certification demands a greater integration of the principles, techniques and values within yourself, so you can safely, ethically and effectively engage with others to resolve challenges. It's also a necessary step to Trainer Training and Coaching Certification.

In Masters Certification, you build your repertoire of techniques and strengthen your skills in metaphor, interview and trance techniques. Trance is a highly useful accelerated learning state; we emphasize auto-induction, and practice in guiding others. We teach you practical ways to use trance, and you discover the "magic" as you apply those methods! 

You discover how to:

  • Model peak performance; adopt the skills you want 
  • Improve your relationships -- make authentic connections  
  • Quickly recognize belief systems (do they block? Or support?) 
  • Change beliefs that no longer serve your goals
  • Use trance for rapid & deep learning
  • Make language work for you to influence results
  • Utilize new language patterns to get action (sleight of mouth, embedded commands, conversational belief change, nested loops, etc)
  • Create multi-level communications and embed presuppositions
  • Avoid projection; read people & situations accurately
  • Tap deep sources of inspiration
  • Play with your shadow and release trapped energy 
  • Choose new criteria to create more meaningful goals
  • Use an effective system for decision making & goals
  • Bond, build or break rapport when appropriate
  • Choose the right tools to use when, where, and whith whom!

Who should attend?

If you are a manager, social advocate, trainer or coach, active in sales, marketing, public communications, in transition to a new job, or committed to personal development, you should join us. You will learn to use your thinking and intelligence to balance your EQ (emotional quotient), IQ, and PQ (physical awareness) to achieve a new level of competence and confidence. 

Prerequisite: if you do not have prior studies in business or psychology, or coaching or NLP, you may qualify to participate through an interview.

About certification:

 

You join this course to expand your professional skills in communications, business, consulting and coaching, or for personal development. For those who are certifying in NLP at the Masters level, full participation and achieving the international assessment standards will be required. Meeting certification requirements qualifies you for an internationally recognized MASTERS certificate in NLP.

 

Our training:

Our principal trainer, Kristin Shannon, is widely acknowledged as an exceptional and experienced leader in the field, who worked directly with the founders and those they modeled. She and Virginia Satir led programs together prior to NLP; she studied with Fritz Perls. In NLP she studied with Leslie Cameron Bandler, David Gordon, Tom Condon, Steve Gilligan, Time Line originator Tad James, Judith de Lozier, Richard Bandler, Robert Dilts, Steve and Connierae Andreas, and Carol Erickson. Kristin is member of the American Society of Training Directors (ASTD). Her focus is modeling and transferring excellence.

At UC Berkeley she graduated in cognitive neuroscience, and studied cross-cultural emotions, with Paul Ekman, the world’s leading expert on facial signals of emotion and truth, and George Lakoff, who dramatically changed our understanding and use of metaphor.
